  • Bloganuary Day 16: Clutter

    Bloganuary Day 16: Clutter

Where do I even begin with this one?

There are loads of places that need decluttering.

Home -the amount of things I keep saying I will put them up on eBay or give away and haven’t is just too many. I need to get my act together, because once my family sees me sorting things out, they will also help in keeping the clutter out. Right?

Computer – I have this habit of taking loads of screenshots or saving stuff that I won’t even use or touch for months / years. Just eating up valuable storage on my computer. It is about time I just got rid of all the stuff I won’t use.

Phone – too many apps, just incase. However, I realise I only might use less than half of them on the regular. Time to do an audit of my phone to delete said apps and while I am at it, cull my phone camera roll deleting all the images that just do not make sense being on my phone.

Mind – I have a lot going on in my head and mostly its because my physical environment is full of unnecessary clutter. Once all that is cleared, the mind clears. And I know this works for me because I feel much better when I have tidied up, decluttered and cleaned a messy room. I feel different.

I will leave you with these two quotes:

Just because something adds value to your life today doesn’t mean it’ll add value to your life tomorrow.

    Joshua Fields Millburn

Excess possessions weigh us down, not just physically, but mentally and spiritually.

  • Bloganuary Day 15: A Pet

    Bloganuary Day 15: A Pet

I have always wanted to have a dog for a pet. What kind? I am not sure as I would have to go with any connection I would feel if I was to adopt a rescue dog from a home.

Dogs can be loyal and very caring. This is why they are my favourite animal.

However, seeing how much upkeep that goes into having a pet has kinda put me off getting one. My kids have been asking for a pet dog or cat, but I do not think I have the patience, let alone the budget to get one.

So for now, I will be admiring people who have pets and care for them.

    Bloganuary Day 14: Online Communication

I communicate online in various ways with my favourite being Telegram as I can touch base with my family and friends without too much distractions.

When it comes to my work as a photographer, I am starting to appreciate LinkedIn more now as well as my website/blog to communicate with my audience the type of work that I do.

Email, Instagram and Zoom as well are ways I communicate online with my family and friends.

  • Bloganuary Day 13: Memorable Road Trip

Bloganuary Day 13: Memorable Road Trip

My most memorable road trip was one that I made with a friend back in 2017. We were in Ireland & Northern Ireland for the Women’s Rugby World Cup. we had a few free days between matches.

We had a few free days between matches, so we decided to drive from Belfast to The Giant Causeway using the scenic coastal route. It is one road trip will never forget. I briefly blogged about it here. On our way back to Belfast, we stopped by the The Dark Hedges which was made famous by Game of Thrones.

  • Bloganuary Day 12: Snack

    Bloganuary Day 12: Snack

I would love to eat one of my favourite snacks – a nice, juicy mango smothered in salted chilli powder.

Not a mango, but an apple, but you get the gist. 😋

It was also one of my favourite snacks growing up. Thinking about it now makes me want to go make me a plate – YUM! 😋
