The Year of the Snake was celebrated in style in London as the Chinese community celebrated their new year.
There was a parade in the streets of London around the Chinatown and a hive of activity in Chinatown itself as visitors flocked the area to get into the spirit of the Chinese New Year celebrations despite the cold and wet weather.
