A friend over the 2011 Xmas festivities brought a home-made cake and it re-ignited my passion for baking.
So far, in January, I have baked 5 cakes. I hope I can keep the momentum going.
This is my second attempt (first attempt was ok) at Madeira Cake following a recipe similar to this one.
My favourite cookbook…..always comes in handy when things are thick come middle of the month. This is one cookbook I would easily recommend.

I really need to get my photography skates on as pictures from the archieves will soon run out.
I just love my food and home-made food at that. I have even started cooking using recipe books just to get my taste buds flowing.
