    EK13 / 30 Day Photo Project – April 2024 Introduction

What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?

    Hey Happy People,

We are back with the first 30 Day Photo Project for 2024.

Yes, this is my first post since I concluded the daily blogging challenge back in January. Life has been pretty hectic to event blog once a week as promised. However, I am using this project as my motivation to get back to sharing some of my photographs and thoughts with you.

To kick off the 2024 edition of the the 30 Day Photo Project, I will be sharing with you some images to I took in early March. I applied for a press pass for the men’s six nations match between England and Ireland, but I was not successful. 😔😢

However, I used this opportunity to try out some street photography around Twickenham. So I packed up my camera and together with my daughter, we commuted to Twickenham to photograph some of the fans.

I had a list of images I wanted, but as soon as I arrived in the area, I knew this was not going to work as I had hoped. So, I just went with the flow and photographed the fans as they arrived at Twickenham around ‘The Spirit of Rugby’ sculpture that is right outside the stadium.

This was a good exercise for me to approach people and ask if they would like to be photographed, as I find this very difficult especially when I didn’t have the safety net a press pass gives me.

It was also a good opportunity for my daughter to see mummy at work and learn what to do and not to do when it comes to photographing in public spaces.

So here is to the first 30 Day Photo Project of 2024.

    EK13 | The Blog 2023 in Review

    Hello, 2024!

As some of you may know, I now co-host a podcast called Photo Mama Podcast.

I will speak more about it later on in the new year.

The reason I bring it up is because, my co-host and I were reflecting on how fast 2023 felt – listen to the episode here. When I did my review for 2022, I also mentioned how fast 2021 felt. Is it me or does time seem to be going fast these days?

Anyway, we are back with another review for my blog and looking at the stats compared to last year, I somewhat dropped the ball abit. However, I am glad that I found new ways of challenging myself with my blogging beyond the 30 Day Photo Project. Which I am actually surprised by how I have somehow managed to keep it going. The urge to quit was strong, but I relented.

Let’s not make this blog post longer than it should be, but before I go, I would like to thank you for reading this review, subscribing to my blog (if you haven’t, why not?) and just being your awesome self.

Happy New Year and my it bring with it good fortunes and prosperity we all deserve.

Now to the number crunching for my blog for 2023 👏🏾

    Video version with music 😉

What would you like to see more of in 2024? Please let me know by leaving a comment below.

Thank you for reading this to the end and I wish you all the best in the year to come.

Have a Blessed and Happy New Year. 🎉🎆
