I honestly cannot recall having specific family traditions growing up and as I now have a family of my own, my husband and I have made a conscious decision to create a few traditions of our own.

The ones that I can think of on top of my head at the moment are:

1. Apologising to each other when we have wronged.
2. Hugging each day – first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Random hugs are very welcome.
3. Saying gratitude words like “Thank you.” “Please.” “Excuse me.” afterall, good manners cost nothing.
4. Give each other space to be alone. Being together in one space can sometimes be overwhelming, so having that time to be alone and do your own thing is encouraged in our home.
5. Create memories together through experiences like travelling, fun activities like days out bowling, dinners at restaurants, meeting with family & friends, etc.

Speaking of which, I do share some of these on my YouTube channel. Like this video of us visiting an exhibition during a school break and having lunch with a friend and her children.

I can honesty say this has got to be bingeing on Korean dramas.

The fact that I have watched over 200+ dramas and with a watchlist as long as my arm on Netflix, Prime, Disney+ and my favourite platform, Viki, goes without question, this is currently what I enjoy doing the most.

The Shard has got to be one of those attractions in London that I haven’t had a chance to visit.

I always walk past it or seen it from a distance and admire its magnificence, but I haven’t had the opportunity to go inside and up to the viewing floor or Sky Lounge.

Perhaps this might change this year. Who knows?

Well, I haven’t got any pets.

However, if I did have one and it being a dog, I would make it understand that shoes are not a chew toy and going to the toilet indoors is a big no-no.
