I was incredibly attached to my mum’s radio cassette player. My mum didn’t like me using it as it meant she had to replace the batteries every so often even though it could be powered through the mains.
However, when I got the chance to use it, I used to place it on my bed just above my head and play music until I fell asleep.
I think my mum still has the radio. Whether is works or not is a story for another day.
